What did you write this Yuletide? Hoo boy. A whole bunch of weird esoteric Japanese history/RPF, and then some other things:
Arcadia - Stoppard - 4.66920[..], a fix-it for the play's ending Discworld/The Culture - Picking Bodies, a crossover for hangingfire's 2F1 prompt in tribute to Sir PTerry and his desire to die in dignity John Wick - MGMT, John learning management from Winston, a little The Bedlam Stacks - Downstream, Merrick and Raphael fall into a time loop Watchmaker of Filigree Street - Interweave, in which Thaniel accidentally encounters rope bondage through art Go Player RPF - Only the Stones, in which modern Japanese Go players summon historical ones to try and beat AlphaGo, the AI that wins it all Heian Era RPF - Follow, using ushiwakamaru's amazing prompt to turn Yoshitsune/Benkei into Yoshitsune/Soujoubou. Monsterlicking. I almost succeeded.
I also wrote some code.
What are your fandoms? I muddle along - I am not really in fannish space until Yuletide these days, though I'd love to be. The Culture (SOBS WHY WAS I ALONE THIS YEAR), Vorkosigan Saga, anything Japanese history, Natasha Pulley's books, Discworld, &c. I'm looking forward to picking canons up from other people, really!
What are you interested in/what would you be interested in reading on your feed? I'd love to be more social in general! Hit me up if you want someone to brainstorm/beta/convert to your fandom cult, because I don't read or watch media as much as I would like. I hover around the SFF space a bit, and cheer on everyone doing exchanges and such. GRAB ME BY THE LAPELS AND MAKE ME TAKE UP YOUR FANDOM!!! I can be easily converted with fic recs, screenshots, and screaming manifestos.

I enjoyed the nu!coal revival; I'm always there for the fun stuff and not really there for the wank, and 2018 was a wanky year. I prefer DW/thread style commenting above Discord conversations because of the pace of life and the ability to keep conversations going over hours instead of seconds! So thank you all for the inventive new memes. I enjoyed coalie catchups over the threads quite a bit.
Things I Would Admit Unanon: JE nonny, I am anonfailing here to say our rant/rave descent from MOONCHILD into Johnny the Creep was one of the highlights of my coal participation this year. Shine on, you crazy diamond.
