I find it really kinda cool how a lot of music that fandom listens to seems to border just on the edge of pop and alternative; it's like, no one really, really listens to the stuff that's consistently playing on the radio (show me a fandom hip hop fan! WHERE ARE THEY?!), but there's a lot of common ground between a lot of people re: weird music. OH WORLD, YOU ARE STRANGE.
