I enjoyed Diana a lot and honestly loved the scene where she leads the charge that ends with liberating Veld. But I couldn't care about the romance plot and that meant there were a lot of minutes of waiting for cool stuff to start happening again.

Yeah, it was just a really predictable plot; I wonder if it was that they just couldn't *fit* anything in considering the backstory in the first bit... D:

I would have preferred most of the plot to go away and just make it all battle/action sequences with Diana.
