who have a recommendation for somewhere to stick a mongo or nosql db besides heroku? i kind of want just the database, with all the nasttty APIs and so on done for me, as opposed to 'it puts everything in this hosting container'

AWS database instance, maybe? It looks like they have a nosql option.

(I pretty much do exclusively sql/sqlite on unamanaged VPS myself though so I am probably not the best person to ask)
