Thank you very much for hopping on this wild ride for me. I hope you have fun creating whatever comes to your mind: I'm not fussy, am a generally omnivorous consumer, and just want you to have a fun exchange.

tl;dr: I put most of my prompts in my signup and so this letter is mostly just general information, resources, and any weird thoughts that come to mind until 31 August. This is still WIP until then!

Likes

Old friendships and relationships: people who were close but who then drifted or were driven apart, and how they come together again. The internal struggle of renegotiating new/old territory; unrequited/unresolved tension. Pining is great.
People who know each other very well, and who translate that knowledge into a variety of things - whether that's intimacy, sex, codependency, codeswitching or otherwise - that aren't easily read or understood by third parties. Ingroup/outgroup dynamics!
Service/loyalty/contractual obligations.
High-pressure situations - whether immediate or over a long time span - and how people respond to them.
Competence porn: people who have worked very hard to become highly proficient in their skillsets, whether that's being an assassin or meticulous scholarship.
Private versus public conflicts, and how a character balances the two. Winning one only to lose the other; difficult compromises.
Cross-class interactions; the bigger the divide, the better. Double points if it's not just a case of "I've got X and you've not", but rather how two people challenge each other across said divides.
Worldbuilding, especially economic, in-group, and political worldbuilding.
AUs and non-traditional media (IF, whatever!) are all fine with me.

If you're interested in writing totally-optional porn:

Powerplays and mindfucking, whether in bed or out of it. Cavalier but not careless use of power.
Dom/sub dynamics, but not as a lifestyle (To whit - a commander/subordinate relationship with lots of sir-ing? Delicious. Slave or A/B/O AU where the setting encourages the dynamic? Yes, please! Bringing a BDSM master/slave relationship in a vanilla society out of the bedroom without a supporting non-bedroom context? Nah. :))
Age gaps, and gaps in general - of experience, of personal wealth, of language, of social class.
Breathplay, dirty talk, spanking/impact play, voyeurism/exhibitionism, clothing or uniform porn or mostly-dressed sex, restraints.

Dislikes/DNWs:

Again, I'm omnivorous! Hard DNWs are listed in my prompts per-fandom am fine with anything outside of those for you to do what you need for your writing. In general, I'd just ask that you steer away from 100% introspection and am not usually fond of gender identity as a focal point, but if you think it fits what you're doing, I trust you!

Art

I requested art only for FFVII:R, but if you're on a flyby treat investigation, art is great! I am just utterly horrible at prompting for it, and my FFVII:R prompts were the only ones that made sense in my own (very unartistic) head.

Hikaru no Go

Please allow me to back-link you to old requests that detail modern Go players and historical ones too if you'd like to use them for your inspiration :) A less overly involved dive into historical Go players would be the Tenchi Meisatsu movie, though it is a little hard to find. Still, Okada Junichi?? I'm EXTREMELY unfussy about how much research you put into things as long as things are not SCREAMINGLY anachronistic (which I consider, like, anime showing up in the 1600s, for example)!

The Culture

This is a fandom I'd particularly love to see off-beat formats or worldbuilding in. Some of my favourite scenes have been when ships hide and then throw off their humble disguises; FOTNMC and The Mistake Not from Hydrogen Sonata could not be more different in personality, and yet their modus of packing a lot of power and then thumping people they can no longer be patient with over the head with it is in many ways so delightfully similar. If you want to geek out over Picket Ship Provisioning and how much Led does and does not care about it, I'd love that.

Original Work

Group: Ancient Vampire Who Looks Teenaged/Retired Vampire Hunter He's Known Decades (M/M)(OW)

I've got nothing here except iddy joy at age gaps and the supernatural. Some fun thoughts to toss around: when did they first meet? I'd be as thrilled with a late-in-the-human-day meeting as I would be with them having known each other since the human was very young. What do vampires give humans as gifts, or vice versa? Does O- taste really good, and does Vampire have to fend other bloodsuckers off his prime real estate?

Final Fantasy VII

Rounding back to art, gosh I have such a clothing porn love for FFVII. Especially the new Turk suits, yes sir. Rufus' outfit is also just so... /makes hand motions. Do what you will with them getting into (and out of?) their standard attire and I would be so happy. Maybe Tseng has reason to wear something different for a change? Or Rufus is going somewhere on the down low? Additionally, the Slums as a neon-drenched backdrop is also one of my favourite things.

Prince of Tennis

God, Tezuka, you absurd human being. Putting aside the fact that he's just a kid who somehow is allowed to travel – alone – to Germany and stalk pros until they pay attention to him, let's talk about he shows up without giving any of his old teammates any warning about playing Germany. There's always a sense to me that Tezuka cares, and very deeply and very passionately, but in his own way, and he's chosen that way not to involve much standard communication. How does that work with Fuji, who seems quite all right with that and who also seems to be one of the few people Tezuka is inclined to give advanced warning to? I'm fascinated by their private language: where it works really well for them, where it maybe goes awry. What gets Tezuka's attention? What gets Fuji's investment? Do either of them think it'll last beyond middle school, or do they already know they'll make it work?
