snowy #3 fannish fifty #4

Today's snowflake_challenge wants us to Scream Into the Void. Get it all out.

I scream into the void a lot as-is. Here are some vaguely fannish Screams:

1. Prince of Tennis: the problem with Tezuka being God is that God only works well as a character when he's mostly Up Above and/or exists to be Defeated. >:( LET HIM HAVE NICE THINGS like being good at tennis without ENDLESS INJURY or SELF-SACRIFICE. (Konomi is getting better at this.)
2. FFVII: I wrote/write a lot of Rufus Shinra as an evil corporate princeling, but my god does canon make it hard for him to seem like he has more than 2 braincells until Advent Children. Who wears that many belts?!?! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO TIE DOWN, RUFUS?
3. Hikaru no Go: WHY for the love of all that is anime has the rest of the series not been animated? WHY HAVE WE STOPPED AT THE ROAD TO THE HOKUTO CUP? This anime is surely one of the best things to ever happen to anime. All the other 90s animes are getting reboots - gimme fully animated HikaGo :<
4. New fandoms: why are you so hard to get into? Is it because you're less iddy? Is it because I'm just grumpy and older?
5. It's easy to wither away from fandom loneliness but really hard to find something to just chat about without feeling Awkward Turtle. This is why I like to lurk-but-never-post to FFA, and why I've gone back to Coal over the years even though Coal really tried my patience these past 2 years. I want to happily emotionally vampire off of the Great River of fandom, and for some reason that is really hard in namespace! Maybe I should just start a random chatpost every week? :thinky-face:
