P(re).s: dear body, please never do this "do not want to go to sleep" thing ever again, kay? Kay.

Here, have a meme. Anonymous comments are on, and every reply makes me tingle with non-hangoverness. 8D

What has surprised you the most about me (if anything) since joining my flist/"friending me"? Was anything completely unexpected or have I always fit the picture of me you have in your head?

now, back to passing out jaslfja

*cough* AGE!

Oh, pish. If you're old, I'm positively decrepit. Twenty-fiiiiiiive. :P

[identity profile] pere-chan.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Seventhed! I think.

Also, as the 29 year old in this bunch, I claim decrepit. Geriatric, even. XDDD

Although I do admit in terms of drama you ARE quite old, K XDDD

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-28 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd rather be young in terms of drama, thankyouverymuch. Interesting life experiences, yes; premature DEATH, probably!

[identity profile] dnatio-memoriae.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Thirded.

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
OH SHUT UP. ANCIENNNNNNNNNT. ♥

Stay sane please. ♥

Fourthed!

(Also, your productivity, good LORD woman.)

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
(My productivity is faaaaaaaail. God, I've been guiltily avoiding IJ because I fail so utterly at Kinkfest. D: D: D:)

[identity profile] regicidaldwarf.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Fifthed!

Also I feel inferior because I always thought I was the young one in fandom and here you are who's super smart and prolific and talented and I'm about to turn 20 in less than two months and what've I done lately. :P

[identity profile] dnatio-memoriae.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
On a random note, but: I understand that sentiment so well. I'm halfway through 19 and I feel that I'm going to have a quarter life crisis when it hits 20.

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs* Meanwhile I feel like I've wasted too much of my life as-is.

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha, nah. I used to be younger! A lot younger! When I first joined fandom. And then I realised how stupid my stuff was and how I was acting, which is why I'm only here now five, six, years later. I'M NOT THAT YOUNG! 8D

The breadth of your interests!

Anonymous because I feel like it. So I will try messing with your head.

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
MY HEAD. IS IT MESSED? I DO NOT KNOW. OH NO. *NEEDS JON STEWART ICON FOR THIS*

[identity profile] ununoriginal.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 10:48 am (UTC)(link)
u're so much younger than i thot - guess it goes to show one can't make age judgements based on the quality of writing ;p

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
:DDDDDDD

[identity profile] eska-rina.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 02:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Mm, I very rarely have a picture of people when friending them, and I haven't have you friended in a very long time, so, eh...

nothing so far? :D

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
:D True, true!

[identity profile] ellnyx.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Everyone else said age, so I'm going to say height. You're exactly my height. So not fair. Can't ever lord it over you now. Sigh.

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-25 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
... Nyx, how do you know my height?

[identity profile] ellnyx.livejournal.com 2008-11-26 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
You did that '10 things about me, 9 things about me, 8 things about me, 7 things about me' meme ages ago, and put your height in it.

If my memory serves.

I could be hallucinating, it does happen.

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-26 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Now I'm wondering if I'm hallucinating. So tired.

WELL, I'm 166ish! I WAS PRETTY/AM PRETTY SURE YOU'RE TALLER THAN I AM.

[identity profile] ellnyx.livejournal.com 2008-11-26 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Nope. Same height. Surprised?

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-26 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah! I thought I'd be shrimped out by you. Your continent is full of tall people!

[identity profile] ellnyx.livejournal.com 2008-11-26 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
My sister only comes up to my shoulder. I can pick her up and carry her in one arm. ^^ My brother is tall, though, and father, and grandfather/s. Just midget womenfolk really.

[identity profile] leradny.livejournal.com 2008-11-26 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
Ever since I joined your flist I've been surprised at how many times you make me go :DDD.

:DDDD

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-28 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD ♥

(Anonymous) 2008-11-26 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the major initial surprise was the one I tend to get every time I "meet" an author whose work I follow - the reminder that yeah, they're just as human as I am. That surprise faded really quickly, though.

The other big surprise for me was the fact that you weren't nearly as old as I thought you were (not that I thought you were old, but I figured you were at least a year or two older than me).

[identity profile] karanguni.livejournal.com 2008-11-28 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs* The author thing is kinda weird, innit? I remember the first time I made friends with a fandom author I really liked; it was so strange to see things from a ground-level-real-life perspective. \o Neil Gaiman's one of the few whose real life seems as bizarre and brilliant as his writing. 8D

\o I feel kinda decripit. 18 was a milestone age I only ever imagined myself reaching; now that I'm here I'm pretty ashamed that I haven't done more with my life. xD
