Yes! I just got DDS1 in the mail as a present, but I haven't had the time to start it, so I've just been admiring what fic and artwork I can. [shame, shame, etc.,] Hopefully, I'll get DDS2 before I beat 1. My track record with SMT has been terribly slow -- Persona 3 is still on my unfinished backlog.

No, that's understandable -- I can be kind of slow about finishing SMT games, too, because they have a tendency to kick my sorry ass. (Still have to beat Nocturne. This is easier said than done.) I highly recommend DDS, though; it was my introduction to Megaten, and it's such a delightfully twisted little thing. As you've probably realized from the fic and art.

Good luck tracking down a copy of 2. (Actually, if you have a really hard time finding one, talk to me -- I have a copy of it in good condition, and I've beaten it, so I'm okay with loaning it to people.)

(Also -- friends?)

I seem to have lost the original reply to this. [facepalm] So many tabs today.

Oy, I hear that. Persona 3's level-grinding (when I made the mistake of putting on Normal difficulty, instead of Easy, aaargh) has had me stalled for months on end. I think I stopped sometime after hitting the Third Block, just because of the daunting level of micromanagement and elvel=climing. My usual method of grinding ends up being "Fight until exhausted/bored, repeat until Boss Event shows up". I'm committed to it, until I either finish it, or throw up my hands and spoil myself on Youtube. (Hopefully the former, but my time has been limited as of late.)

Yeah, really. There are a few marketplace sellers out there, but all too rich for my blood at the moment -- I was hoping they'd reprint 2, since they already did 1, but no such luck so far. (Persona 2 was on my list, as were Nocturne and Devil Summoner, but man, the sellout rate just blew me away.) The entire SMT series as a whole has had a pull on me for some years, so I've got a lot to catch upon. A loaner would be wonderful! Nobody locally seems to be into RPGs as much as real-time adventure. So lonely, sniff, sob, etc.

(Friends! :D Welcome aboard, enjoy the crazy.)
