Dear Neglected Final Fantasy VII Readers on the flist:

This is my inner voice for Tseng speaking. After 2428 stories in which Tseng does nothing much other than, um, kick a lot of ass and/or have mildly disturbing flashbacks and/or stays quite firmly in his nice, mono-fandom spot, would you guys be interested in (I know I'm a total w00b and failure here) seeing his ass get sort of kicked in a Batman crossover?

Because, um, yeah. Tseng. In Gotham. Um. I'll be here. Holding up little signs that say "endorse the plotbunny". *WEEPS FOR FANDOM PURITY*



Been busy as hell; really should be taking the entire remainder of August and September off on hiatus, but what's the point of one if you don't have the self-will, right? Been speeding through a lot of schoolwork, and it's still not even close to what I need to do, so, other than huge bits of fandom squee, not going to be much from my end these two months.

Brain is dead, also.

Poor pet dog is in need of a shower.

Michael Phelps is probably half-dolphin, aside from being 100% awesome.

Don't be fooled by fandom's purity, it's dirtier than it looks. I suspect your crossover will be love-worthy regardless (or because of) of how many lines you cross.

Incidentally, regarding Michael Phelps, have you heard of Australian Swim Team Slash, because I was freaking fucking mindboggled and tripped out on seven levels to discover that there's a whole fandom of US of Aers that just slash our Aussie boys and coaches and MY GOD THE THINGS THEY DO TO MICHAEL PHELPS----

Are you serious. I haven't really been into sports much over the last couple of... forevers - there was a time when the family spent bits and pieces of time in Perth and Sydney, mostly during my, uh, formative years, and I used to be bored to tears in Perth and I'd buy magazines and read all about Ian Thorpe and thaaat's about as much as I know of Austraila's swimteam, except that they're really good.

I fail so hard at crossing fandom lines, but today I sat down and I had this THING hit me on the head and I thought, for the first time in a long while, that I could write a piece of Tseng that was a piece of instead of a piece on. MAKING NO SENSE NOW. BUT IT'S HOT, IN MY HEAD.
