Things are okay here, I suppose. Nothing exciting has happened except that some yarn I ordered a couple of weeks ago was in the mailbox when I got home today. (Well, it's exciting to me.) I'll spare you talk of my sinus woes.

And...that's pretty much it. I've been reading fic instead of working on my to-do list, because I'm lame like that.

Well, it's less than 24 hours to the deadline and BOTH of mine are undone (untouched, even), so we shall SEE HOW THAT GOES. I think they'll be, uh, substantially shorter this year.

How long have you been gone? Mostly I just got excited about Darwyn Cooke (http://guingel.livejournal.com/266279.html) lately? (There might be another bit of news tucked into that entry.) I also bonded with co-workers! :D And slept not that much because I was meeting up with friends loads before the holidays.

I was gone physically from the 6th, but mentally from the 1st, since I had so many things just lined up one after another. xD CO-WORKER BONDING. I am all ready to go out and find myself a job, though I think this process will suck and I don't even know what I want (or can!) do. xD''

::sheepish look:: If you're interested, I think the only other journal articles worth reading that I posted during that time are my only article (http://guingel.livejournal.com/264159.html) written during two years on Smith's newspaper, and some very special pictures of TOKIO (http://guingel.livejournal.com/265373.html).

My co-workers are great! :D It's been 6 months or so, and now I'm really feeling comfortable - everyone's been nice the whole time but I feel like I'm making friends. I'm glad I don't have to be looking for temporary summer type work. Look for an internship with the government! :D It has worked out neatly for me.

I am saaaad. I went to a cafe where this knitting group was supposed to be held, and I was the only one there :(.

On the plus side, I only have three days of work between now and Christmas, so I can renew my Internet social life! :D
