Batman (Beyond):

- Terry/Bruce, mental!slash (or is it?) - who cares? Old Bruce is porn whether or not he's moving/acting/breathing; the mere fact that he's on level with another human being for the first time in... ever is enough to make Terry the best Batfamily member, period. Anyway - Terry in "D.G"s old tux - and Bruce's happy-or-not-so-happy way of introducing him to the old ways.

Batman (in general):

- Bruce watching Dick watching Bruce watching him. How that kid loves to smile.

- Dick talking to Tim. Family affairs, after all. Sometimes you have to look after the little brother - and anarchy is part of puberty.

FFVII:

- Restorations III? AKA, wow, Tseng is actually in Wutai, time for some serious abuse of culture, AGAIN!

- Rufus/Tseng, Or How Their Love Story Really Isn't. Anger, rage, and a lot of being amazing. I had a really good idea for this, at one point. I can't seem to remember what it is right now - I just remember Rufus being Rejected (TM). And a lot of pissiness. HELP.

That little bit of episode always made me happy, just because I love it when Beyond admitted that they were a show coming from a series that already had a history... and now that I think about it, WTF is Bruce doing with Dick's old clothes...?? ....old perv. XD

Though, if you're pretty set on slashing Terry/Bruce, I'd recommend that you stay away from Justice League/Batman: Beyond future crossovers, NO MATTER HOW EPIC THEY SOUND, because they throw in a huge "twist" that leaves me screaming "IT NEVER HAPPENED, IT NEVER HAPPENED." ....seriously, I'd rather read JK Rowling's book seven epilogue. .....okay, maybe not, but you get thge point. [/rant]

*ahem* Yeah, I get kinda super-fangirlish when it comes to Batman, I tried to hold it in... but couldn't. Mostly because yesterday I found the Batman Beyond movie Return of the Joker at Wal-Mart for FIVE DOLLARS. CURRENTLY FANGIRLING LIKE WHOA. .... *frolics*

There are a couple of JLA episodes that I'd like to play with, though. I don't necessarily love the retcon of Epilogue, but I like the content - Amanda Waller, how Bats deals with certain situations, the fact that even Terry can have a Bit Too Much. And Once and Future Thing was just too priceless. xD Sometimes you just have to write it like you can swing it. 8D

I AM SO NEW TO THIS FANDOM, and really, I don't have the energy to stay true to the 24092480 canons, so I AM PICKING THINGS UP AND PUTTING THEM AWAY AS I GO ALONG. 8D (One day I will pick up that comic, but right now I'm broke enough from a whole bunch of recent purchases as is!)

RotJ is AWESOME, and fully vindicates my belief that Terry/Bruce is the sanest Batman relationship, ever!

Okay, yes, I must admit that I dearly love a lot of the JLA episodes, and that in their context Batman/Wonder Woman made me warm and fuzzy in ways I didn't think were possible. (The episode when Bruce and Diana are hiding so they make out the the corner of a restraunt??? SQUEE. ....okay, so that's an overused ploy BUT I LOVED IT. ...OMG YES I DID JUST HET-SQUEE ALL OVER YOU.) I know it' skinda not fair, but I get kinda pick-and-choosey about what I accept as my Bat-canon from JLA. What can I say, there are some things I like and some things I don't like. *fingersnap*

I AM SO OLD IN THE FANDOM, YES TRUFAX. Batman was a definite part of my childhood, and it's become so second nature to me that I've filed away all the 24092480 canons in the back of my head. (In Batman Begins when Liam Neeson--mmmmm, Liam Neeeeeeeeson--tells Christian Bale to kill Nameless-murderer-guy and Bale's all, ".....kay" I went into momentary rage-mode and said to my sister, "BATMAN WOULDN'T DO THAT. If he actually does it, we're leaving." ...and he didn't, and we stayed. ...AND THANK GOD BECAUSE I LOVE THAT MOVIE.) And, yeah, The Dark Knight Returns is definitely worth it for any Batman fan; personally, I'm not a huge fan of the art style, but the story is AMAZING. Batman just owns ALL OVER THE PLACE. ...as he often does. XD

RotJ is just so... oh god it's just so well WRITTEN! I love it. And it also gives me hope for Joker/Harley (OMG what's with me and het pairings today??) because you know that the DeeDee twins were Joker's granddaughters.
