2009 is the year after 2008, and other works by K

Happy (almost) new year, everyone on this side of the continent! :D

Have some celebratory Lucifer: #11-20.

GORGEOUS.

Now I want to have a go at watercolour, which I will probably fail at since it is such a precise medium and I am anything but precise during my artmaking process.

Also, am amused that Lucifer has platinum blond hair (and is generally Aryan in appearance) yet has jet black eyebrows. Perhaps this will be the distinguishing factor when I draw him with Rufus, seeing as they are otherwise (uncannily) similar.

IS IT NOT IS IT NOT. Augh. Watercolours make me weep for their clarity.

Lucifer's hair is like Rufus'. It swings from strawberry blond to platinum and back and forth and all over, just for fun. *g*

A solution: Corel Painter, which actually has a pretty good watercolour function but more importantly, the undo button and layers.

A second dilemma: I have been using a trial version of Corel to do all these artworks and am coming to love the program, despite its lack of special effects. The trial finishes in ten days. Do I give in and go buy the thing, or do I go about acquiring it in a less...scrupulous fashion?

note: am currently figuring out the composition for the cross over from hell

I can help you with the less scrupulous fashion thing. Though I love Painter, and if you have the cash to snag it, I think Corel deserves some lovin'.

What composition? *EAGER*

ohoho. Hello, partner in crime.

Composition: when it becomes palatable for the eyes, I'll show you the sketch of it?

I approve, and I think my eyes will, too. 8D

I forgot to add: I've emailed you the composition.
