Mmm, breaktimes
Finally took a day or so to do nothing but indulge myself - between coming fast and hard off the exams and straight into soul-eating fic, I decided not to write another few chapters and just to laze around and be human for a little while. Still feeling kind of twitchy; my body wants me to do stuff, even though my mind is telling me firmly to back off.
Reading Robin right now - oh god, someone please shoot Willingham. Okay, I'd heard of his Badness, but then again people dislike Devin Grayson where I love her - I went in with an open mind, and came out again screaming three pages later. He's done some respectable work - I enjoyed War Games!Tim - but asjflkajlsf ahlksf askjf a ashlfk asf lasfjakls flakfj l why why did they let him handle Tim's adoption? The Eddie idea is sound. But it does not correlate with Tim going: "WOW. WOW! WOW!" three seconds after Bruce asks him asfjlaksfjlk keyboarsmash.
But there's a lot of Robin that's pretty freaking awesome - hello psycho manipulative Bruce! Tim turning to Dick for help near made me squirm with joy. Alfred is just golden throughout the entire series. The one-shot with the Joker made me want to... God, I found the Joker attractive for one long, horrendous and beautiful moment. Tim being able to see Dick Growing Up Fucked. Tim being able to tell Bruce to stuff it. Ah, odd numbered Robins...

Kinkfest is starting up again, and I think I'm going to be a lot more advanced-planning, a lot less satisfy-the-reader this round. Sad truth: most of the prompts that I want to pick up are my own. *SHAMEFACED* But I highly encourage anyone who's on IJ/who wants a nice challenge to go check out the community and pick up anything that interests them. Good bunch of writers, and awesome readers.
Family and religion are biting me on the ass, but at least not in a severe, ass-hurting way. Just discreet discomfort. D: Oh life. Please stay at arm's length. Do not cross the yellow tape. 8D 8D

This song is so hilariously teeny-bopper, but also hilariously catching, if you ignore Miley Cyrus' self-insert into the lyrics. It's my private Stephanie!song, for the Batfans on the flist. Somehow it sparks a little of young!AU!Elena, for the FFVII people. God, pop.

For the Batfans: Yoinked right off the Batman and Robin soundtrack, this track makes me think of Jason Todd, Dick gone wrong and Timothy logically extended. It's a frightening Gotham. For the VII fans: dude, this is like. Midgar slums +++++ I write angry Tseng and think of this fondly.
